Default Noise in the Clutch I think

I have a 2013 Street Glide 12,000 miles on the bike . Last week I thought I heard a noise in the left hand Clutch area . Today I heard it again when I pull in the clutch kind of a grinding noise . Sounds like a bearing to me ????????????????

What do you think

Is the noise on the handlebars, or down in the clutch?

If it's up on the bars, when was the last time you lubed the cable and hinge pin?

The Noise is when I am holding the clutch in and coasting . It does not make the noise every time and it sounds like a bearing coming apart . As for the cable it just had the 10,000 mile service so IT should have been done and it is on the left side .

When I got the Bike back from the 10,000 mile service I thought the drive belt was too tight .
But it had the 1/4 inch deflection and maybe a little more . Now it is looser but not much .

I went to the dealers today and the service manager road the bike about half an hour .
After a lot of stop and go he got it to make THE noise . He called it the Harley clutch rattle and changed the primary oil to

Took the bike to the service manager today . He rode it about half an hour in the parking lot and said may have the wrong oil in the primary . In the 2013 and 2014 do not use Synthetic in the primary but use Formula + only . He changed the oil and now we will see ??

In my 2013 owner's manual on page 174, Table 34, under recommended primary chain case lubricant, the lubricants listed are Formula + or S/E Syn3 full synthetic motorcycle lubricant 20W50. Now if your dealer knows something HD doesn't he should be responsible enough to let the mothership know what's going on or the mothership should be notifying the owners of their products not to use HD's syn. oil.

I have been Amsoil in primary for over 10,000mi in my 2013 sg. He is Just trying to sell Harley oil..My dealer put Harley syn. on the first free service at 1,000mi and swapped over to Amsoil at 5,000mi. Just a little chain noise is all I get..You must have something else wrong. I don't believe its oil related..just my 2 cents..
