Default Stock sliders, any value ???

I replace my stock sliders with chrome. I was told some platers will buy them. Can't find any info on them. Does anyone have any leads.

Thanks in advance, JIM

Is this true! I threw mine away, since hardly anyone buys old junker stock parts...

I bought a set for $30 shipped and had them powdercoated. Took them to my Indy and swapped them out. Hang on to them. They get sold on eBay and the classifieds here all the time.

I sold two sets of them to someone on here. If my bad memory serves me correctly I think I got $125 shipped for the pair.

You should be able to get $35-50 for them pretty easily either in the classifieds here or on ebay.

Here in Burlington n.c. "Davis custom cycle" hangs them up in groups as a wind chime. Sound pretty good too.

Like most stock takeoffs, they don't have much value. Their value is mostly as a core, if you want to buy chromed or powdercoated sliders. When parts cost more to ship than the parts are worth, I toss them in the trash.
