2014 SGS Gas Smell

It's a gasoline powered vehicle. It is going to smell like gas for a short time after parking it. If I park the bike in the garage after a ride and close the garage door it will smell like a gas station quickly and can even smell it inside the house after awhile.
I either leave the bike outside for 15 minutes after riding or pull it in and leave the garage door open a couple of feet for 15 minutes. No gasoline fumes!

Lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of new Harleys have various problems such as the one you complain about. People have been complaining about the gas smell since at least 2008. And yet they can't seem to fix it!
When you take it into the dealer and complain you usually get the "SOP" answer: 'Oh, don't worry about that, it is normal".
The only cure is a new Victory, Goldwing or Indian. If I was working in the Headshead of the MOCO I would be taking Imodium every day because many of these new brand X touring bikes make Harleys look like they were engineered during the stone age.
