Been using a 7" LRS ultra for a while and it's great for me. Lookin for something that will keep the wife's head from buffeting so much at highway speed without getting a crazy tall shield. Anybody have experience with the flattop? I noticed they have a new one out called the wind blade which may be promising too... Suggestions?

I had looked at the Flat Top too but ended up going with the 8" Ultra. Wife seems to not have any problems with buffeting. She hadn't complained about it anyways.

2010 Limited with some stuff

I have an 8" LRS flat top. My better half says she's comfortable and doesn't experience any buffeting.

Of course, I had the flat top before we started riding together, so don't know if it's better than the 9" regular recurve I had. I switched to the 8" because the 9" was a little in my sight lines.....

When I had my stock 12", the wife had no buffeting. Went to a standard 8" and she noticed it. Then I just put the 8" LRS FT on and it works really good. For me at least I get nothing with it. Wife only feels wind at high speeds. I think her half helmet rocks on her head. I went with the clear, and the 8" is the perfect height for me at 6'. Quick delivery and HDF members get 20% off

7" LRS windblade here worth every penny. Wife happy and down force and stability noticably better. I am 6'3 and would have gone 8" in hind sight. Looks great on bike too with med tint.

Tell her the wind is one reason you aren't in a car.
