I had them for a few years on my 2010 Ultra, starting with the OEM rear passenger floorboards, then going to the H-D mini-floorboards and then the Street Glide pegs. If you're 5'5" tall, the answer from my viewpoint is 'no', it will not solve that problem. I've also had the Profile-Low rear shocks and Reach seat installed the entire time, so as a total combination set-up, the answer is 'no'.

Harley did just introduce the new Ultra Low, which uses these items and more, including a new narrow profile primary cover that is also supposed to help us.

I am 6 ft and have the same issue's with my RK. I just make my passenger mount after backing is complete.
