Engine Guard Foot Peg recommnedations

I've always used Harley's Cushioned Footpegs. They are round with black rubber around them. They allow me to keep my heel on the floorboard with my toe on the peg, the bottom of my boot on the footpeg near my arch and they are comfortable if I stretch out and put the back of my heel on top of the footpeg. So, along with using the rear, middle & front of the floorboard, I have 6 different positions.

Kevin(the K in "DK") likes our Triple Trap pegs paired with a heel rest kit on his trike for extra comfort on long rides.
Here's a couple pics of his set up. These pics were taken on his and Mary's(wife) ride to the Arctic Circle-

LINK to the Heel Rest Kit(also available in chrome).

I just got my '18 Tri-Glide and I haven't gotten around to thinking about the highway foot pegs.
Ironically, I ran across a new set in the garage that I had bought years ago (I think for my wife's bike) so I'll take a closer look at them tomorrow.
I think they're the short curved ones (designed to fit around the lower fairings so that's probably why I didn't use them on her Heritage
I do like the look and function of the Kuryakyn "Switchblade" but I've had some of the rubber strips come loose and fall out of the ones that H-D sells.
In addition to the highway foot pegs, I will be picking up a set of floorboard "extenders" to help get my right leg away from the engine.
I have these on my CVO Ultra and they are definitely worth the cost and effort.

I went with the chrome adjustable highway peg mounts and fatty ISO pegs with heel rest. Kury products I believe.
Very comfortable for my 6’5” frame. I usually put my heels on the boards and fore foot on the heel rests. I moved the boards out an inch which is more comfortable than stock. The traps look interesting but I like the looks of the ISOs better.

BUT, for looks, I've since been using the Fatty ISO's with heel rests. They are the most comfortable I've found of the more traditional looking highway peg set ups.
I'm also using the matching extended shift pegs (seen HERE) and the adjustable mounts (seen HERE)

On the 1100 mile trip to and from Nelson B.C. this past 3 days I got desperate and bought a set of H.D. Mini Boards and H.D. short adjustable mounts.....in Lewiston Idaho at the Hell's Canyon H.D.....my legs were killing me without Highway Pegs..
Thanks for all the great ideas on the Forum
Gary.
