Default Going from two wheels to three....

I've been riding motorcycles since the late 60s and now at the age of 70, I'm seriously considering going to a TriGlide. Without getting into my specifics right now, I'm curious as to what motivated others to go from two to three wheels...

70 years old and starting to get weak in the Knees. When I had mama on with me my stops were getting sloppy and didn't want to take a chance on hurting her. That being said at this age(72) I am still riding and truth be known I wouldn't go back to two wheels,I love riding and I can keep up with the Two Wheelers. Once you get used to the difference you will love it.

I'm 73, soon to be 74, I went to the Triglide for touring with my wife because I didn't have to hold up the weight of the bike and the two of us at stops. That being said, I still ride a Roadking Special when I'm solo and taking local trips

Yup, pretty much sums it up! It was either me ride solo or go to a trike so wife could ride with me, a safety issue. No space or money to have it both ways. Made the switch and life is great! My view from the saddle is the same either way, won't go back now. Me 72 & her 67 (with a hip replacement) and we are still in the wind 30k miles later.

Denied I needed a trike for 2 years until I just had to start riding again. Knee, hip, and balance issues guided me to the FW. 75 and days away from 76 very happy I made the choice. Good luck on your decision.
