Default New Bike For Me

A couple of weeks ago the wife and I were out shopping and having lunch. We stopped by the Harley Dealer to look around , and a new Tri Glide reached out and grabbed me. I have been trying to convince my wife to join me on rides, but it is too hot, too cold, too windy; she is just plain afraid of the bike. So I figured maybe this will help, even though my back, hips and Knees are still working and can hold up my Ultra Limited, I am 77. The next morning I went back to talk with the Sales Guy. He said the people who came in as I was leaving bought the bike I was looking at, but could find another locally. Three days later he called and said they had found one and it was in route. They transferred my WHIM, XM Radio over and installed Cool Air Fan and Heated Grips. Finally Delivered Saturday. Looking Good!!

Good looking ride.
I did the same here about a month ago. Wife was getting scared when on the Electraglide, traffic today, what can I say.
Anyways have fun. We both are enjoying the 3 wheels.

Things get to a point when a change of ride becomes necessary. My wife didn't feel safe on the Dyna that I had. I traded that for a FreeWheeler. Got some accessories, like a backrest and softer seat. Once she made the first ride with me, it became "can we go for a ride?" I was not able to go out for a ride by myself for quite a while. Three wheels extends your riding time by years. Enjoy your new ride.

Sounds like my story. Wife was done on 2 wheels. She hasn't ridden in 4 years but said she would ride again if we got a Trike. We now have a Trike.
Enjoy your new ride with your wife!
