Default Triglide or Freewheeler?

Other than price....Wondering what is the difference between the too are. Either one easier to steer, smoother ride, handeling issues ..gas mileage..that kind of stuff...

I like the FW for easier steering. Having owned both I think the ride is about the same. I never worry about gas mileage as it is only a 5 gal tank.

For my wife the main deciding factor was storage. The Tri Glide has a trunk and a tour pak and you can add a tour pak rack and a rack bag for even more storage.

The upper and lower fairings for increased wind protection were another selling point for her, plus she just liked the look of the Tri Glide better.

I had a choice between a black and chrome Tri Glide and a black and chrome Freewheeler when my black and chrome Super Glide became a concern for me and my family. The Freewheeler more closely resembled a motorcycle, IMO, and the lower price was a bonus! If I was shopping for a new trike, I'd consider a RG3 as an alternative. Maybe if I my wife enjoyed riding on the back, then the Tri Glide would be considered. However, she doesn't and I won't be looking for anyone else to ride on the back!

If I was to do it again, I would go with the freewhdad's.
I hate the fairing with a passion. Never had one before And wish I never had one now.

Well, look at both. BUT traveling storage is the issue. I have seen several freewheels with added luggage carriers. Cost is a big issue my 2020, paid to much but wife likes a throne. I like the fairing.

I currently ride the TG and have no complaints. There is plenty of storage for long trips.

Can you install a windshield on the freewheeler?
