I have never ridden a stock Harley. I am very hard to please with my motorcycles and cars.

I agree with Jo Mama. Our 09 has a Cat (California model) and runs just fine. We did install Rush slip-ons, made it a tad louder, but doesn't pop ear drums.

Heck I would settle for something in the 110 - 120 ci range and liquid cooled, then we would be talking something to get tubby the trike moving.

You might be looking at 150hp+ doing something like that. Harley is afraid it would cost them something on warranty. IMHO !

Do it right and it will be more reliable than the Twin Cam nut roaster they are building these days. The down side to them would be is no need to have the dealer crack into the engine in search of more power, hard to sell big bore and HP parts if you make good power to start with.
