Default alarm system

i have bought my v-rod (2002) 3 months ago. the alarm system is not activated. can anyone tell me how i can do that?

You'll need the key fob. Press and hold the button until you see the blinkers flash twice. To deactivate, press the button twice and you should see the blinkers flash once.

You may have t stand infront of the bike to do it. Sometimes it doesn't work from the side.

misunderstanding.
the alarm its not even programmed! my English s not very good and i cant explaind it as a want (sorry)
can be done without the key fob? someone told me that i can do it if i turn the key 3 times and do something with the flash (or something like that)

If I understand you right, you have the same situation as I do on my Sportster. I have a key-fob, but it doesn't really matter if I use it or not, the alarm doesn't do anything. The lights flash twice as described, but I think the alarm is bypassed (or maybe not even installed correctly). Is that what you're talking about?

The alarm system has to by synched with the bike by a Harley dealer. I think it's software or a flash in the ECM.
