Just added 200 miles to mine today on the route to get the recall on the license plate holder fasteners. Two screws and directions to remove the back two fasteners, place red thread locker and install to torque specs. Remove the end two fasteners and replace with the new fasteners. Add blue thread locker and torque to specs.

Seems that some had lost their brackets and they crammed up under the fender.

Great ride. Mid forties and sunny. Came across four other riders.

The more I see the new model, the more it grows on me. I initially HATED the new tail end... Now, it's not as bad as I thought. Then again, the rear fender has always been terrible, IMO. The new front end is AWESOME. Bout time they put inverted forks on all the models...

I'm that way with a lot of new things. Gotta keep an open mind, ya know? Saw the new model at the York, PA plant back in October and thats when I really started to take to it. Still dont really care for the rear end but the rest of the bike makes up for it... same as the earlier models IMO.

T-Rod45, I really wish they would make a fender eliminating kit. Get rid of turn signals and license plate. I think that would help alot !

You mean just the plastic "dog's ***"? You can make a DIY plate mount and intall some aftermarket signals to clean up the rear. That's what I did on my '09...
