New Member from Oklahoma
I've actually been a member for awhile, and have been reading posts for even longer. I've just decided to sign up and start posting on my own today, though.
I'm Dr. Dave, retired U.S. Army CSM, also retired from the National Security Agency, and retired from university teaching. I moved back to the land of my people, Oklahoma, where I was born and raised. I used to tell my soldiers I turned 18 and found out my parents were civilians, so I ran away from home and joined the Army!
I spent 46 years away living and traveling all over the world and loving every minute of it. I'm glad to be back home with my wife and dog now, though. I had to give up my two-wheeler because my legs had gotten too weak from Gulf War Illness to hold up the large bagger I'd been riding. So I'm on a 2014 Tri-Glide now, and still able to enjoy the open road!
Thanks for letting me join these forums. I'm looking forward to the collective wisdom here to help me learn more about riding and maintaining my bike.
