I'm new and wanted to say hello.
I have a 2006 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe 5 speed twin cam 88.
I also have a couple of projects an 05 Narrow Glide (super glide) low rider, I acquired it with some damage to the bike. But I have heard it run it has a fuel injected twin cam 88 with a 5 speed It shouldn't take a lot to get that one road worthy.
That brings me to my future FLH a 1977 74ci shovel head that has been bored and stroked with a 4 speed tranny. I have been around that bike nearly all my life as I'm only one year older than it. Even though it looks like it's unfixable the engine still turns over and it was running great when it was parked. I'm very hopeful. To me, there is no sound sweeter than a fine tuned carburetorated shovelhead stroker, straight unrestricted headers.
