New Guy Here
Good morning all, coming to you from Twentynine Palms, CA. Leaving here in less than a week to go back down to San Diego.
About me:
I'm a born Texas Native and joined the United States Marine Corps on August 6, 1993. Still active duty, I am currently a Gunnery Sergeant stationed aboard The Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, California. I am about to execute PCS Orders down to The Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, California on February 15th. Currently engaged to a sweet heart who supports my career and appreciates the sacrifices and efforts of my brothers in arms and I (not all SoCal civilians do).
About my Bagger:
After 16 years riding sport bikes (GSXR's) and getting into the knee dragging track style riding, I had surgery on both of my knee due to 16+ years as an active duty Infantry Marine. That being said, I got rid of my sport bike and purchased a 2009 Metallic Pearl Harley Davidson Street Glide (FLHX) and it was the best purchase I have ever made! My fiancé enjoys it as well since she has her own little world back there and can be hands free, unlike the sport bike.
I guess that's about it for an introduction. I am looking forward to getting to know my fellow motorcycle enthusiasts and hopefully, meeting those of you on rides down in the San Diego, CA area in the near future. Ride safe everyone and remember: "Shiny Side Up..."

Born in San Antonio, raised in Hillsboro and graduated from Star (45 minutes from Killeen/Ft Hood), joined the Marines in Abilene.
