Would these grommets work to replace my current (F: 43150-89, R: 43157-83A) tire valve stem seals? Cast wheels on my 1991 Sportster. I'm planning on new tires soon and would like to refresh the stem grommets as well.

From looking at NOS valve stem assemblies offered on Ebay, they seem to use something similar if not the same.

IDK, I can't find any H-D part number for the grommets, just the entire valve stem assembly, which is obsolete. But, it appears you can replace the grommets from what I see of NOS stems on Ebay. They look fairly standard to me, but I really don't know.

This is for the front, I believe the rear grommet is not a "top-hat" style like the front, but more like a flat faucet washer.

I would think the inside dimensions are all the same for a Schraeder valve, but the outside dimensions IDK. I've never seen the rim without tire, tire work is one thing I'd rather pay for than do myself. I would just like to get all parts in advance to take to my indy.

I guess you can still get the stem assemblies through Dennis Kirk for under $10 each. Good to know.
