Hi guys,
I own Street Glide 2020 and my front tire TPMS sensor died. So I bought a set from an eBay seller. He has 25 000 feedback points, most of these are positive.
The item description said the sensors, which he were selling, are “New”.
But, after I had opened the box, one valve was grey and second was black. On the internet, I have seen unpacking videos and always, both of them were black. Also, one sensor had already screwed bolt inside the valve and second didn’t.
Has anyone of you ever encoutered this?
Do you think that this item has never been new, but it is an used one?
In the attachment, I’m adding a photo of the sensors.

Just because you searched by part numbers and the eBay listing shows the part numbers, that does not mean they are actual H-D parts. I learned that years ago.

Well, sensors are OEM but valves are clearly aftermarket. I found even some fingerprints and dirt so it was used for sure. Anyway, return ticket has been submited to eBay and I’m gonna return it.
Ebay is great for saving money on used & new parts and nla parts, I've bought hundreds of items, never got screwed, it's up to you to do the research, contact the seller if you have questions.
If you receive something that's not as described, contact the seller, if they don't resolve the problem, open a claim, ebay will step in.

Nope, way too many counterfeit parts that you can't differentiate from true real products.
