Getting new wheel assembls front and rear, old wheel are worn out. See some good deals on 80 spoke wheels but are a 3.5" wide in rear. the stock rear rim is 3.0" How much wider will the tire get, running a 140 dunlop now. Question is do you think will cause clearence issues. Thanks.

I think you will find that a 3.5inch wheel is an alternative for running a 140 tyre. Personally I would be happy to fit a 3.5 inch on my bike, except I prefer cast wheels! I also run a 140 rear on a 3 inch rim on my dresser.

I don't think there will be enough difference to worry about. How much clearance do you have at the moment between tyre and belt guard?
