Default 21" wheel

from my research some tires will require you to elongate the rear fender mount hole and lift the back of the fender just a hair, so the tire doesn't rub,. thats just what i have read, but then i have also read that on some you don;t have to do anything. carroll out.

I put a 21" on my 07 Road Glide. Mounted it up and rode it. Mine had plenty of clearance.

im thinking of putting 21 inch wheel on front and leaving the rear at 16 inch is the stock front fender going to look weird with the much narrower 21 inch tire? what are the costs going to be to change out the front fender for a more appropruate fender

your new wheel will be a 21 BY 3.50 or 3.25, no they look great, the only thing with leaving the rear a 16" is from a side view of your bike the front fender will look like its tilted back, kinda hard to explain , but the straight horizontal edge on the fender might be canted up on an angle. maybe someone else can explain better.

Not me I like more rubber hittin' the road. I put a 16" on my 99 Fxstc in place of the 21", and I think that it rides a lot nicer, doesn't get tossed around quite as much as the 21 did.

FBI has wrap around 21" or 18" fenders that look great and they will paint to match also,$600 painted plus $140 for the fender adapters,

you figure $1K for wheel $130 or so for tire. $600 for painted fender and $140 for fender adapters, but i think the stock fender looks fine. if you want matching rotors those are around $150 each.
