RE: New Kuryakyn Standard Forward Controls Pictures
Looks good. Just saw an episode of American Thunder where they put those on a Dyna. They made it look pretty easy and said that Kuryakyn supplied everything you'd need. Was that your experience?
RE: New Kuryakyn Standard Forward Controls Pictures
Hi, the pics look good.
I tried to fit my Kuryakyn controls last night and I think I must have some bits missing.
Do you have a real close up shot of the shifter arm at both ends?
I've got two ball joints left that are the same, presumably one goes at each end of the shifter rod but have no bolts or washers for the one that needs to be attached to the splined shifter arm end [:@]
I'm trying to contact my supplier but I want to be sure they send me the right bits.

Looks good,........ I couldnt really tell from the pic, but did you go into the primary to remove the shifter shaft? Ive been thinking of forward controls but hadnt decided 100% on them just yet.

I was not able to figure out how the anti rattle clip is used. I have a WG and have put on 5K miles without it and am wondering if it is for bikes that had mid controls to begin with. Did you install it on your ride? I found that the lever arm ratio on the Kurys reduced the shift effort quite a bit as well. They look great on your scoot.

Yeah, it's only if the bike had mid controls to begin with.
It just wedges the old shift bracket behind the primary. With a WG you won't need it.
