Default Handlebar change

Looking for some info on changing handlebars on my 07 FXD Superglide.
I need to come back towards the seat a couple of inches and raise them a couple of inches. I do not want to use risers to do this. Anyone have any times on what HD or aftermarket bars to use to accomplish this change. I do not like to have to lean forward to ride, it bothers my back, being the old man that I am. I need to be sitting stright up or leaning back a little bit. Any help would be appreciated.

Can you go to a dealer and sit on a wide glide or street bob? If you're only looking to raise a few inches and bring them a little back without changing risers, those mini apes may be the way to go. And, sitting on a WG or SB would be an easy way to find out. Just a thought.

I went to the dealer, and a parts guy and I took several bars out to my bike. I "mocked" each one up, and ended up buying some Stock Heritage Softail bars. Up, and back. Easy deal.

These bars came back a couple and are a little taller than the factory buckhorns as well. I dont have the exact measurements but they are alot more comfortable for me than the factory bars were. They are from the 07 CVO Superglides.

Well,.... The total cost for the complete setup which include the bars and gauge mounts and housings, tachand a diamondback brake line, and I also had to have the wiring harness off of the 07 CVO Dyna. If my memory is correct it was appx $800 for everything from Zanottis, and that included a service manuel too, Even though it was a lil pricey,....To me,...it was well worth the $$$$.

Just throw a set of 20" apes with 2" risers on it...looks awesome & most of all you won't look like all the rubs out there...Hangin is where it's at.....Good luck ACE

As most have stated, mini-apes from the Bobor Heritage bars are probably going to be what you want. And, you can go get a feel for each by sitting on those bikes at the dealer.
