Hi. I signed papers today on a new Electra Glide Classic. Silver color. I don't care for the orange signal lights and the clear kit from Harley has lenses that don't match the nice clear lenses of the main headlight and spots. The kit's clear lenses aren't really clear (they're translucent but not transparent) and they have textured circles.
Should I:
A) Get the clear lenses and deal with the mismatch between my headlights and signals
B) Get smoked lenses so I can make it obvious that I KNOW they don't match
C) Is there some other solution out there that would look better?
Thanks,
Eric
PS: Love the forum. Been lurking. Finally about to own my first Harley!!

............So changed them. (you can see them in my sig pic)
SteelCity,
Are those an aftermarket, Kuryakyn, or HD kit?
That looks nice.
They are a HD kit, pretty much plug and play as they bolt onto the exisiting cross over bar in front and tribar in rear.
The fronts are a bit of work to wire since the spot lights have a wire in the same protective covering as the three wires for the turn signals, and you have to changeout the pins(they are installed) on the plugs under the front fairing.
The rears just plug right in at the tail light.
While we "ALL" worry about the scooter looking good. Let's not forget it's also about VISIBILITY!! I don't think that can be stressed enough.

PaOutlaw,
You are so right. Thats one of the reasonsI changed out to the amber bulbs with clear lens. They throw more light than the stock assemblies(High polished reflectors)and also enhance the overall look. Best of both worlds.
I like the lollipops. I just bought visors to put on both the front and rear (actually for all the lights). Next is the rear boards and front fender skirt.
