1,000 mile's on Peacemaker mufflers!!
OK" I got the Peacemaker mufflers put on Friday night,
it took one and a half hours from time I jacked it up till
I put it down for the first test ride!

The ones shown in the link are for a Sportster, the ones
on my Ultra Classic look like the SE Touring one piece
slash cuts..
I rode it 1,000 miles this weekend and all I can say is,
I love these mufflers!
They sound like the (2007) SE touring mufflers in the
quite mode, which is just slightly louder then the stock
(2007) mufflers that come on the Ultra Classic.
Then on the loud mode they sound like a Harley should
sound with that rumbling growl at steady throttle and
when you hit it,it has that real strong bass sounding
sharp bark that a good set of straight pipes has!
Anyone wanting to have the great sound of a Harley
without making enemies of your neighbors or waking
everyone up at a motel or campground early in the
morning, these pipes are for you!
I hope this info. helps people out there that could use
a great product like this...

They work with the stock ECU on the bike with no problem
as they say they do. I checked this with my infra red temp
gun. Engine temp and pipe temp stay the same in both modes.
According to NC who is the manufacturer they work with any
tuning devices on the market. Give them a call, thats what I
did.
I'm putting a Thunder Max ECU withauto tune on my Ultra
Classic so I know I will have no problems with tuning at all
when I put my SE air cleaner on"

man I hate to admitted this but I have seriously been thinking about these too!
I am glad they are out and installed and we are starting to hear some feedback here. I will watching carefully this summer for more reports.
I have stock , Police, baffles on mine and want to ride them one more season before I make the change (cash holding me back) to either these or Rines....

I don't know why you hate to admit wanting these mufflers,
IMO they are the wave of the future. To many guys are
running around out there pizzing off the general puplic with
loud pipes so it won't be long till big brother puts an end to
loud pipes. At that point everyone will have these pipes or
stock pipes!
I've always been more of a leader then a follower my whole
life, so I don't mind being one of the first to start running
the Peacemaker pipes" I've never done much of anything the
same as everyone else in motorcycling with my street bikes
or my race bikes my whole life, I'm sure not going to start at
this point in my life,being I'm an OLD" DOG" now" LOL"

I love the idea behind these pipes.
I am awaiting delivery of my new 07 RK with V&H stage one. I wonder if I can get it changed and add these pipes?
Do they sell them in Scotland I wonder?

Thanks for the report.
I've been looking at these for quite sometime. It's the perfect solution for where I live; my whole neighborhood is full of little kids and babies. Out of respect for the Mom's, I would love to have my loud pipes and be able to pull in and leave quietly. I have SE's on now and don't get any complaints.
The question I have: When you put these on your Ultra are you able to keep the lower fairings on since the actuator motor has to go on the frame next to them, can that motor be mounted somewhere else? Is that motor mechanical or is it air?

Thank you for your in put about these pipes when I was
asking questions about them before buying them. These
are the greatest inventionsince sliced bread IMO.
Now I want to see how their standing up at the end of
2007 when I have 50,000 miles or so on them in all
weather conditions!! That will be the true test of the
quality of these mufflers..
