I'm not sure what is going on, but my front fender has gotten PHAT over time. I've tried to carefully monitor the situation to no avail.[>:]I spoke with Dr. Goodwrench about the issue at hand and the fact that even though she runs like a spotted ape, she still insists on PHATtening up. I'm at my wits end and have come to the conclusion that PHAT is PHavorable and a WHOLE LOT more PHUN!!

Is that my old fender Darren?
I guess its your original and your chopping the one you got from me?
Cant wait to see the final product!
13 days and counting then I'm on the freedom bird!
Just ordered a Lindby Multi Bar Mustache guard black powder coat! Should give the bike a lower visual appearance from the nose and a place for me to stretch the legs.
Rob, this IS your old fender.Fenders off of the Ultra or any other fendersthat havethe chrome rail and lights need extensive body work to fill inthe spot where the light was, not to mention the difference in the rear of the fender from the FLHX compared toothers. The FLHX's rear fender is longer inthe back withjust sheet metal, the Ultra has to have the fender skirt to make it appear as long as the StreetGlides.
I almost scrapped thisproject because I wasn't sure how it was going to come out. I could have bought one from NativeCustom already lowered and painted, but I wanted to adjust the height and give it the illusion the I personally wanted.
Anyone wanting to do this, it is VERY simple to do, but it does have to be repainted by a professional.
You aren't gonna believe this, but I have been soooooooooooooooooooo close to ordering one of these as well.....LOL! I've had it in my "cart" about to hit the button and buy it, but backed out because I wasn't sure how it was going to look on my bike.
I really want to see how this is gonna look when you get it on.
BTW, thanks for the sweet deal on the fender.[sm=smiley16.gif]
