Default Take it with a grain of salt...

People on here get far too excited about some of these posts. I have to chuckle as they take it personally when someone is posting on and INTERNET CHAT BOARD. C'mon people. Lighten the f*&^ up. You only live once and are allowed to be bitter, but IMO it just breeds anger and more bitterness. I imagine that some people here enjoy demeaning others to make themselves feel better in order to deal with their low self esteem issues. I have done it at times and am not afraid to admit it. If everyone in the world would lighten the f*&^ up the world would be a much better place to live.

A freind of a friends' favorite statement is lighten the f*&^ up. He also taught me something else. When driving in traffic and someone goes to cut me off, changing my perception of the situation can completely change my view of what just happened. Here is what I say. They can't cut me off because they let me in. And remember people...LTFU! I am only speaking of being cutoff without having it affect me in any seriously begative fashion such as being in an accident. This usually only happens to me when I am driving in the cage.

You're right.I found out I should be shot and thrown in a wood chipper because I don't like Pit Bulls. That's okay, my check is the same, by beer taste the same, and my girl still digs me.

Yes...I have to admit, I didn't realize when I stumbled across this forum (yes...stumbled upon it...I wasn't sent here by the Harley BORG...), that the plan was to be assimilated. With some folks here on HDF"resistance if futile" should be their motto. If you don't agree with what they think, you're lower than whale poop in their eyes. I didn't realize just because I bought a Harley I had to start thinking like everyone else who owns one. I thought the whole essence of Harley (supposedly America itself...) was freedom of thought and expression. Apparently in some people's eyes you are free to think and express yourself, as long as you're in full agreement with them. Otherwise STFU and death to you and all your relatives!!! I have to agree with Anubisss...LTFU would be a better way to go through life. (Although I've been guilty of taking things a tad too seriously at times myself...) We should ALL remember that we're here because despite all our varied backgrounds, opinions, political ideologies, etc., we ALL love riding, and we ALL love Harleys.

I'm trying to lighten up, but I hate to exercise.
