Hello All..proper Oil temp Vs. Gas mixture
Hello Everyone,
I'm glad to have found this great site. I tried to do a search first as instructed in the welcome page. I have a 2007 Street glide with Reinhardt true duals and a Vance and Hines fuel Pac system. The bike is now running perfect at all speeds (Iput 800 miles in the last week) The major problem with the fuel pac is V&H will not give your the values of the programs. The question I have I believe I am running a bit lean. What is the proper oil running temperature?? I hear 210-240?? with all you guys and all this great amount of knowledge please tell me the best operating temp.With the right temp valueI will know if I set this bike up correctly. BTW I have had numerous Haley's a BMW K1200LTE, and few metric's. This bike is the best fit for my wife and I so far. The transmission is a noise box but that's another issue.
