Well after the great success of the 1st Annual HDF Mid-Atlantic Rally, I was thinking we should follow it up with a Meet and Drink (Greet) at DELMARVA Bike Week in Ocean City, MD in September. Here is the link to the website www.delmarvabikeweek.com

I was thinking about one of the larger watering holes in OC, but I'm open for suggestions about date, time and location. We will be there from Thursday through Sunday.

So what do ya think, let me hear your ideas and feedback.

 

Ya know I am in. It is a day trip on Saturday for us. Unless we can find a couch/floor to crash on and then we would come down Friday night. Plenty of places to meet at. But the bigger ones on the boards and the main drag are obviously gonna be jammed. Maybe something out on 50 would work better.

Also if anyone is up for a ride we just did a Poker Run last month out of OC Harley. It was a very cool ride. I could see if I could map it out.

 

I'm interested, where are you guys staying? I don't know anything about that area.

 

I have a friends Condo, but go to the website and checkout the accomodations link. There are plenty of places to stay from ritzy down to flea bag.

 

I'll be there...Hopefully this year the weather will cooperate Having a get together further up to where you are may be a better option as the traffic in the lower side is just a bear. But whatever I'm in. Oh an there is public transportation, so if we want to really let loose just keep the scoots parked at where ever and transport it in and back

 

We will be there, hopefully without the rain this year. We are using the SIL's family condo. I don't haveclue to a place like the Hilton in OC tho.

I'm in, but will probably just be a day trip or something. I have a friend that I might hook up with her beach house in Lewes, DE but that still puts me about 30 miles out for the whole driving thing, which really sucks. Will see how things develop and what we cook up for activities, but definitely ready to party with the HDF gang again. Oooops, can I say "gang"????? I meant the HDF group

 

I cant believe I didn't know you were all at GBBW (damnit)!! How did I miss that I have no idea. Anyway depending on when the misses gives birth ( a week later than Delmarva) count me in, its only 1.5 hours south of me!

matter of fact was on the phone today
about renting a Townhouse for this event

As far as a gathering place to meet there are numerous
places as you know. Maybe something outside by the water
Ie. Seacrets, Fish Tails etc..
or possibly down in the bottom at the Bearded Clam
or up top at Smitty McGees

Now if I can just find some way to make sure
all bases are covered for the business.
If I miss this HDF event may have to turn
in one of the bikes
