Default Amber passing lamps

Hi to all of you. Any of you have the amber passing lamps? I was in the truck today when a Road King passed by with them. It was really noticeable from a distance. It was a little bit overcast. Thinking about replacing the clear ones on my Ultra. Any thoughts? Thanks and ride safe.

I have them on my 02 Road King Classic, love them... they surely get the attention of those coming at you. I got them from J&P Cycles a very wise spent $16.99.

You can get amber bulbs at a good auto parts store like NAPA. Both Wagner and GE make them. The part number is 4415A. They are usually 9-12 bucks.

You might want to check out a company called Cee Bailey's. They are an aircraft related company, but make headlight/passing light guards in clear, amber and yellow. I just installed a pair of yellow ones, and they seem very well made. They are vey clear and distortion free, and they really lock onto the passing lamp using clear velcro dots. The dots require about a day to "set up". This gives you the option of running yellow or clear depending on your feelings or local laws.

We just got back from touring around Lake Superior, and the other riders in our group as well as others that we met commented that our bike was very noticeable on the highway due the "different" look.

Good luck.
