Sleeping (well...more like riding) With the "Enemy"
Hi ya'll I just got back from a great ride with a bunch of GOLDWINGS - OMG!!! I had a great time and look forward to riding with them again. Great bunch of folks. Seems like no one here in the local area wants to ride. So... I finally found a grooup that does.
Did I commit blasphemy or sacrilege ? I also wonder what theHD riders thought as about 15 GWs went by and there in the middle was a lone FLHTC.

Must have been surreal (sp), where are all the Harley riders in your area. No biggie riding with GW's, hell I was riding with in a small group of mixed bikes a month ago, young lady on a Hyabusa. Keep riding have fun, just dont think about going over to the dark side.

GW riders generally like to put on the miles. they also seem to like to eat pretty well. Total gross generalization in my part, I know.. but, you hang with them you may put on more than average milage AND gain weight. ...otherwise, enjoy!

They didn't complain about the noise from your pipes?
Seems some GW riders can't stand the sound of even mild HD pipes.
You'll be on a BMW by next spring is my prediction

I'm with Towpro, mileage, good food, andfriends make for one hell-of-a-great-time. Enjoy, have fun, and be safe that's what it's all about, not the brand of bike you ride. Sorry that the Harley riders in your area have forgotten why they purchased the bike, may be you will convert some of them over to the right side, like they said " you meet the nicest people on a Honda." Harley riders, ha ha.

Hope ya had a good time !! One of my my frequent riding buds has a wing. It only takes an extra few minutes in the shower, but that dirty feeling washes right off!!
