So the new BUB Seven’s have been out for a while now. Other than forum member ‘harleyfan’, no one has posted a review. Hasn’t anyone else installed them and is willing to provide some feedback? Inquiring minds want to know about the build quality and more importantly the sound quality/performance enhancement if any.
I received a phone call from Jim Rego of BUB today. He told me that hopefully within the next two months BUB will be releasing a pre-2007 BUB Seven system. pipecity.com is already advertising them on their website. Jim told me that the True Dual verison running a K&N air filter produced an overall increase of 19% horsepower. The cross-over system improved the low/mid torque performance.
BUB part number 1800-0704 is the BUB Seven Exhaust w/cross-over
BUB part number 1800-0704 is the BUB Seven Exhaust True Dual (no cross-over)
Here is an email from Jim reference my quesiton to him about the stock head pipe compared to their cross-over pipe:
Hello Terry, The stock crossover is very restrictive. The way ours is designed is much better. The cross over will help your low end mid range torque on the 7. A article in American Cycle mag will be out in Nov. They did a test on our 7, with a K&N air filter they went up 19% pretty impressive! Thanks Jim
Terry,
I am glad to be in the exclusive Bub7 club. I'm still lovin these pipes and the sound is Great! Quality is what I would have expected for that price point. I wish I had some pics but still no camera, Sorry..........
One of the employees at my local shop (Sound Harley-Davidson) just put the slip-onmufflers on his 07' Street Glide. The last couple times I have been by there he has been off so I have not been able to hear them yet. I will be going back on Saturday to see if he is there.

BUB does not have them listed on their website at this time. The word from them is that they are updating their website which will include the new BUB Seven's along with various sound files like what Vance & Hines offerers.
Pipe City has the BUB Seven's listed on their website although the actual pre-2007 system has not been released according to BUB. Here is the link for the pre-2007 BUB Seven's w/Cross-Over: http://www.pipecity.com/Products/Pro...oductID/470856
