McCo finally came out with the brackets to add the running lights to the bikes with the 49 mm forks, so I put some on my superglide. Wanted to be seen better as well to see better, didn't ride in total darkness yet but I can tell you that in the late dusk it sure looks like they are gonna light er up. My kid was out in front of me and he said it sure makes it a whole lot more visible too. Hopefully the cagers will notice it as well.
Will post pics as soon as I can, as far as install had dealer do it, I'm not much into wiring things. Glad I didn't try they charged 3 hrs. labor. mounting them on bike would be a breeze tho, the brackets split and just clamp around the tube.

That's not a cheapo upgrade. $250 for the chrome, 3 hr ($200), plus bulbs etc.. $500 or so? Must include removing the tank to run the wiring if it's 3 hrs for the dealer.
I am telling you the best light upgrades is simple fog lights... tap them in to the lower trees and you are good to go... total mod cost me 45 bucks!
if you want more detailed pics PM me i have them at home just not in the work PC
