Default Sundowner Seat or H-D Reach Seat?

I'm looking for a new seat for my Superglide with forward controls. I bought a Mustang Wide Solo but it was a stretch to reach the pegs so I sold it. I've been looking at the Sundowner and the H-D Reach Seat and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on which one to buy.
Thanks.

I'm picking up a danny gray big seat tuesday. Will let you know how it works out. I'm thinking it will be lower but not slide you back any. I had a corbin classic solo on my last bike and it slid me back too much so I know what you are talking about.

I have a 07 fxdl and put a sundowner on it. It raised me up and back. I am 6' but have the mids and the highway pegs. I ride on the highway's and brake and shift from there with no problems.

IronhorseAl,
I bought the Reach seat first, it put me way to far forward. I felt like I was sitting on the tank and my forward controls were mids. I took it back to the dealer and they exchanged it for a sundowner. It sits me a little higher and slightly forward. Very comfortable for me and the wife.

The Mustang solo seat also sat me to far back, so I returned it.
Bummer because they make great seats.

The HD Sundowner set sat me to high and was to fat in the front.
So I sent it to Mean City Cycles and they cut it down and added
memory foam. Now I have a custom fit seat that I can live with.

I have the reach seat. It does move you forward and lower you, plus it looks pretty good too IMHO. Just not the most comfortable in the world.

I've been trying to decide on a seat for my wide glide for months. Had a sundowner on my sporty and it was very comfy. Finally decided to send my stock seat to mean city and have it customized to my specs. I know how I want to sit on the bike based on where the stock seat puts me. The problem with any new seat is unless you put it on your bike you don't know how it will position your butt!
