Well, here's the next one..... This Saturday I'll be riding with the American Legion Riders again. This time we are tagging along with the Commanding General from the Joint Readiness Training Base at Los Alamitos and some of his troops. I've never ridden with a General before! Should be interesting! As allways, all are welcome. Here's the plan,
1. We are riding on Saturday, February 2, 2008
2. We will meet at Shell Gas Station at the intersection of the 55 Freeway and Chapman Ave
in the City of Orange. The gas station is located on the southbound side of the 55.
3. We will be meeting at 8:30am and leaving the gas station (KSU) at 8:45am
4. We will be riding to Tom's Farm in Corona. Our route will be: 55 Freeway to the 91
Freeway (east) to the I-15 Freeway (south).
5. We will meet a group from the Joint Readiness Training Base at the Tom's Farms in
south Corona.
6. From Tom's Farms, we will leaving at approximately 10:00am and riding to Oceanside.
The route will most likely be: I-15 South to Highway 76 West to Oceanside.
7. We will eat lunch somewhere in Oceanside as the guests of the Joint Readiness Training
Base. Bring some money because you will probably need to buy your own lunch. My guess
would be less than $20.
8. The ride will end in Oceanside. You can leave to go home anytime you would like.
9. If you want to ride with the chapter, we will most likely leave Oceanside around 1:30.
10. We should be back into Orange County before 3pm.
I plan on leaving Seal Beach around 8:00 am if anyone wants to join me.
