Default Found great Handlebars for RG

First off, I'm only 5'8" and need bars that pullback. I had already tried the WG bars (better than stock), HD pullback for the RG (way to buckhorn for me), and a stock set of bars off of a 2005 Heritage SC (for me the best of these 3). I also tried the reach seat, but that just pushes me up on the tank.

I just installed Khrome Werks "sweeper bars" P/N 300504. These bars pullback plenty and wrist position is great, real natural. These bars are fairly new and ain't in most catalogs so it is best to order direct from KW. You can see them on their website.

Did you have to change out the cables?

No, everything fit ok. You do have to move the clutch cable over to left side of forks which I had already done.I used the RK clamp on top side cover bolt that others are using. That clamp I read about in another thread. Also I did the trimming deal with dremal tool to make it easier to get bottom riser bolts out.

You'll find those bars at the bottom of http://www.khromewerks.com/handlebars.cfm

geez, I don't know if I could handle the price: $63.99

Their
dimensions page shows:
width: 31.57
rise: 10.?2
pullback: 7.54 (this is deceptive `cause it appears that they measure with the bars pressed up against a vertical vs. in line with the shocks like others...)

So, relative to the Heritage bars, could you quantify your take on the added pullback and any difference in rise? How is the clearance on your windshield?

Also, what are your inseam and sleeve length? (Height is most important, but if you've got arms like an orangutan...

My RG is a 2004

My inseam is 30" and sleeve length is 32/33.

You're right about how the MFG measures them. And the most important measurement you left out is the angle between the upright part of the bar and the grip part of bar. More than 90 is good. That makes a big difference because you can roll the bar back as far as you need to and grips stay almost horizontal. Where I've got mine set they pullback is at least 1 1/2" more than Heritage bars.

I road bike 30 miles this afternoon and its the first time handlebars are no longer an issue. Now its time to send seat to MCC and get it narrowed at front.

$64 beats the Flanders and Wild1 bars hands down, but being cheap I have to ask:

Do any of the [discount] online HD parts outfits sell these?
