Mine are on the way! I hear nothing but great things from the members here that have ordered from them I dealt with Jamie directly, and couldn't have been more impressed! I gave him the chance to sell me the more expensive Thundermax, and he told me to stay with the PCiii! Cool guy!

When all this damn snow goes away I will be going to see Jamie in the Spring. Only 45 minutes north of me. I could not believe all the positive written about him.

If you're talking about the one he specially designed (one sides baffle more restrictive than the other, and the special tuned mapping) I haven't. I bought my stuff before he developed it. I got my PC III and K&N breather from him and he tuned it for my total package (stock 07 RKC with V&H fishtail slip-ons), and of course doubled the warranty for the PC III. I ordered it late on a Sunday and it showed up early on aTuesday! She's a totally new bike!

I just put on the complete package (Jamie's specially designedmufflers reffered to above,SE air cleaner and PCIII)from Fuel Moto last Friday night on my '08 RK. Took me about 2 hours to do the job and was pretty straighforward. Believe it or not, the most time consuming part of the job was removing the OE air kit. As someone said in another thread, youDO NOT need to remove the fuel tank. Just be carefull when you get to that step.

I went on a nice long ride yesterday and I gotta say that my expectations have been far exceeded! The pipes are not loud compared to alot of what I hear on other bikes, won't be settin' off many car alarms. They aresignificantlylouder than stockandare plenty loud for me. The sound is exactly what I wanted; a nice low rumbly growl at idle, yet able to bark and get attention when needed. The bottom end torque and expanded power in the cruising range make this bike feel like a totally different machine from stock. Fuel economy went to hell though.

Clay,

When you say pipes are you talking all the way back or just mufflers? And also what brand of pipes/mufflers did the package come with? That sounds exactly like what I am looking for. Not really looking for terrible mileage, but if that happens oh well, I would rather have it a little rich than way too lean.

I was one of the first to install this kit in late November of last year and wrote it up here: https://www.hdforums.com/m_2534631/tm.htm

After living with this setup for three months I can atest that it is a bargain, and I couldn't be happier with the result. There is quite a bit of discussion about this kit here--but since the search function has been broken for weeks, the sysops don't give a ****, and it will probably stay broken for the foreseeable future--here are some observations:

1. Power is noticeably better across the RPM range compared to the Rush 1.75" baffles I had installed previously. Jamie's map is spot-on, as usual. No need for a dyno tune, IMO. Jamie's dyno chart (http://fuelmotousa.com/rush_fuelmoto) shows an 8TQ, 4HP increase over the 1.75" baffles, and I believe it.

2. Quieter than before with no loss in tonal quality. It's actually better, IMO. No ringing ears after a long ride and the stereo can be heard without strain.

3. Gas mileage is unchanged once you tweak the PCIII map in the cruise range. This will not alter WOT performance, or for that matter anything above 20% TP and 3k RPM. I won't go into details here, but will provide help if anyone needs it.

The baffle kit is for Rush mufflers, but will fit certain others like Wild Pigs, SE (not all), etc. If you already have slip-on that are compatible, the cost is only $99, and that includes the custom baffles with Silent Sport Premium insulation material and a custom map for the PCIII. Jamie is so high on the packing material that he offers a lifetime warranty on it. If you buy the Rush mufflers with the custom baffles they are predictably a bit more than conventional baffles, but you'll have to call Jamie for a price on that.

To me this is a very trick setup with which you can gain 2-into-1 performance from stock head pipes for much less money. For me it was perfect for what I want an exhaust system to do, which is maximum performance with no loss in low-end grunt and without obnoxious noise.
