Life is GOOD!
November 15th I was cut off by a lady in a cage and went down. Walked away with only bruises. The ol' Shovel was not so fortunate.
Forks, Trees, Fender, Tank, Higway Bars, Saddle Bags... the normal stuff that gets trashed when you bang into something while you are sliding.
So starts the long process of getting her back right again... then Dec 8, I break my stinking wrist and have 6 pins put in to hold me all together... That puts the bike on hold for a few months...
Tuesday, I get her back from the painter and get back on the road and I cannot be happier. Life is good!
My Lovely Bride and I rode 150 miles yesterday. Sitting and waiting on our friends to get here so we can ride with them, so I thought I would post some pics while I am waiting.

Went with a cleaner look, took all the chrome and bumpers etc off the front fender.

Went with basically the same paint job, but slightly different colors. Dupont Sapphire Metallic and Lt Cream Metallic

Took off the Bag Rails and the rear fender chrome. Better look at the new tail light set up. Turn signals used to be in the bags. By taking them off, I was able to get locks on the new bags.

Shes looking great CG. Would you have made the changes without the prang or is it one of lifes mysteries where something good comes out when **** happens?
