SOLD!! Saddlebags - Iron Max Ironbags Exc condition
Tin Gizel... Excellent Buyer by the way! Thanks TJ.. Enjoy! I'll miss 'em as I do the scoot.
If you've done any searches in here on Ironbags, you'll no doubt have seen me pontificating at length with other satisfied ironbags owners and others about how much I loved these bags and highly endorsed doing business with Max at Ironbags as his work is impeccable. They were my prized add-on to my bike.. Well, things happen.. I sold the scoot (which I'm still not quite over yet), but the buyer couldn't afford the bags.. So they're up for grabs.
Without huge descriptions here.. Here's my craigslist ad.
$500 take's 'em. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better deal on Max's workmanship. Tom and Chris both in here can vouch that I drooled over (but not on) these bags. hehehe
Let me know if the link doesn't work.

If anyone need some Redline Shockproof Heavy? I guess I won't be using it now. [:'(] Got a few qts left.

They bolt hard solid to haul bowling ***** if you need to, but come off in a minute or two with a 1/2" and 9/16" socket. I left them on, as I loved their looks. These things are SOLID.. They've got three strut mounts and a bracket under the rear fender to support left and right bag together.
Ain't no 15lb limit spec on these things! hehehe
And Dude!!! They'd look kick a$$ on your scoot with those apes. You'd essentially have the bike I wanted to finish with those apes! I'd want to see pics of that.
One more thing.. You would have to relocate those fatty turn signals. You can see in my pics I did it with bubba's brakes kit.. worked like a champ.
I should stress to all that these bags fit close, therefore they fit certain model softails. They also are large, so be careful considering exhaust pipe clearance. I ran rineharts which worked find.. Low-slung shotguns like longshots or dual samson style fishtails would probably work fine also.
Also they attach left to right under rear fender, so they're setup with the bracket for pre-FAT-tire fatties.
On hardware, I have everything (BUT) the studs (just short threaded studs) that mounted into the three points on the bike struts went with my bike. They were a couple inches long and can probably be found at Ace Hardware or from Ironbags directly. They bolted up easy with a washer and a nut on the outside holding the stud tight on the strut, with extra stud length extending to mount the bags on. So on that end it's washer, saddlebag, washer inside, locking nut... done. These were extra long also as I had detach bushings for the sissybar...
So all that said, the buyer will need the studs (6) and some slim nuts (6) and washers (6).. Ace hardware or Ironbags themselves I'd say.. Or H-D dealer themself might be able to hook you up.
... I will provide tech support for the install... Also probably still have the instructions on file (I love my wife.. she's so organized).
Oh, guess what!!! I just thought... I have an extra set of harley quick-detach bushings if you wanna go that route for a detach sissybar but don't have a set.. Throwing in! yeeeee haw it's Friday! hehehe
