******, let's try and get a group together to meet the folks from GA to pick up the Mascot Flag. I would like to travel to get it and maybe getting a day for signing for folks from upstate SC or wherever.
Let s all get over to the Mascot Forum and put the pressure on. Mikeeee said to get -r- done we need to squak about it so lets all get over there and Stir it up!. Good idea Paul!
Ok SC riders, here is the deal, dexo is getting the Mascot on April 1st, his schedule is such tha he would like to pass it on to us on Sunday April 2nd. I am going to put my vote in for Sunday April 2nd. Reason being, almost everyone I have talked to has some kind of plans starting this week end the 25th. So in order to get it and allow time to get it around the Upstate, the sooner we get it in SC the better. There are approximately 15 Memebers in a half days ride of me here in Spartanburg and that only counts the SC members. If you include the NC members there are over 20.
So, my plan is to get with dexo and get the Sunday of April 2nd firmed up. Anyone wishing to ride with me is More than welcome. We have talked about meeting in Gainesville, Ga. That is half way between this area and dexo. It is 135 miles according to Yahoo and Mapquest. It is now 4:45pm Wednesday, I will consider this matter closed this Friday at about this same time. The sooner we get the Mascot the more time we can have to plan it's next move. Jon I know you have family issues, I will hook up with you later that week to get your sig on Mascot. The plans are not concrete yet y'all so get your .02 in before they are !!!!!
Since thats a Sunday, i wouldn't mind going down with you all. Kel & I could plan on an overnight in Spartanburg again & If we left early on Sunday. It would give us time to get back. You could keep the Mascot & if you want me to take it into NC, maybe you could come up my way the following weekend & pass it to me. We could take it from there & get it to whoever wants it next. Just my .02
