Pretty simple install, looks and sounds great. I've been thinking buying one for awhile. Finally made my mind up after an older lady pulled out in front of me at a four way stop. She didn't have a clue, factory horn wasn't loud enough to grab her attention.
Post a picture of the left side to see what the horn looks like. Also, was it an easy install? Where does the compressor tuck away and are the lines visible or tucked away nice and neat? Is the horn significantly louder than stock?
an older lady pulled out in front of me at a four way stop.
Installed Rivco air horns and replaced the passing lamps with PIAA high output (55 watt H3) amber lights. The lights seem to have increased the visibility of the bike, I now get cages flashing their lights at me, in the daytime.
I have ordered the Stebel horn... chrome.. it has 139 decibels.. only $36.. much less than HD.. will let you know how it installs and sounds.
I have done the same, and installed my new Stebel horn on the fwd upper shock mount for the cylinder fan with the fans horn re-location bracket. Works fine, LOUDer then stock horn by far. Doesn't look quite as classie as the H-D horn but don't figure that when its needed thats an issue.
Pictures to follow when I get them down loaded into my home computer.
