Break Pacific Forum into 2 Forums

Break Pacific Forum into 2 Forums
Any possible way to split the Pacific forum into two different forums. One being West and the other being Northwest.
The pacific forum covers way too large and populace of an area. We are talking about over 1200 miles in one direction alone.
And then on top of it, California itself is the largest populated state in the nation. which means those of us that live in the
Northwest have nothing in common with California at all. We might as well as be two different countries.
Maybe we can do a poll to see if I share in this feeling.
Here is what I am invisioning
California, Nevada, Hawaii = Pacific
Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Alaska = NorthWest (Typically Montana is also included into the Pacific NorthWest but you have it stuck with the Mountain group)
P.S. who split the forums up by geography locals? Did they not go by the typical geography locations that maps utilize or was there some other reason?

I think its a great idea. I would slit it up as North West, NorCal and SoCal-Arizona.
Why Arizona was not in the South West I'll never know.

I don't want to make waves, but it would make so much more sense if it was broken up into the actual geographical regions that people normally associate each state with.

This is something to keep in mind as we grow, but as there are only 134 topics since the start of the regional sections for all of the Pacific, I think anyone can keep up with the limited activity that's going on in there.
