Purple and orange paint set on the Deluxe
Stopped by the dealer over the weekend to pick up the new bags for my Deluxe. They had a purple and orange one sitting on the floor. Very sweet looking....I think if I would have seen that when I was buying I just might have bought it.....tooo late now

Yeah I saw the same bike at a dealership. I thought "Good luck trying to sell that". My wife comes by and says "What were they thinking: Purple and Orange?". Evidently I am not the only one with that opinion because I went to same dealership two weeks later and it was still sitting there while all of it siblings had long left the building.
I think your current colors are very nice. If they had it at one of my local dealers I would have considered it. Purple and Orange?? Somebody should lose their job over that one.

I think the Deluxe would look good no matter what color it is!!!~~>That's when I knew I loved the FLSTNI...it could be purple, blue, red, black, orange, etc...or a mixture of any colors....it's just a beautiful bike and if I could have one of each color I would...[sm=coolness.gif]

I was talking about resale. I was saying good luck to the dealer trying to sell it.
I don't like the color combination it doesn't even look like a deluxe anymore. But if thats what you want get it. I like unique... I am thinking about getting one of the custom paint sets.

Personally I think those colors don't work together, and then to pay an addition 3-4K for that paint.....not going to happen over here, I'll tell you that much. Weird *** custom paint jobs not my style, I don't like the Detox paint scheme for the Deluxe either,..... I like it old school.

Blue rose, I really think you have chosen a great color scheme; classic, nostaligic and cool all at the same time. I think you did well, IMO.
