Just got back from the dealer who performed 1K service and installed SE race tuner, SE air intake, and Vance & Hines oval slip ons........night and day difference in sound and peformance.
Microphone on my digital video camera clips slighly when the bike starts.......filmed from about 10-15 feet away.....which is primarily due to the very 'low' frequency growl of the pipes. I've heard some say these pipes sound 'tinny'......I can say there is nothing tinny about these pipes, very deep, throaty sound. I am extremely pleased with them and would recommend these to anyone. Make sure you have decent speakers when listening to this or you won't get the true sound of the pipes (a subwoofer is recommended) Let me know what you guys think.

Nice post. I have the V&H Ovals and thought they were too quiet until my Indy test rode it. As he was pulling out of the shop, I said "man, that sounds nice!".

LOL. I was thinking it. Glad someone else said it first. Should have done a drive-by to se how they sound at full throttle rolling down the road.

 

I guess I'll have to post a drive-by while heavy on the throttle.
