Default Fl vied 10 install

I installed my vied's tonight they work great no more decel pop. My issue is how to bundle the front vied. Right now I have the connector and excess wiring tie wrapped to the frame. I don't know how I feel about this.....where/how did you tuck away your connector and excess wiring? Thanks

I used them on my bagger and it enhanced the throttle response though it knocked my milage from 49 to 44 mpg.You experience the same here?

I just bundled mine behind the O2 sensor plug, or your way sounds ok, just do not put where can get extremely wet in case you end up in a rainstorm.

On my FXDF I zip tied it behind the plate that is in front of the oil filter. Have mine set at 75% - fantastic improvement over stock. Will check mileage on the next tank or two and let you know how fuel mileage does.

Two reasons why that could happen: by function, the XIED/VIEDs as well as other tuners 'adjust' the ECM to run richer, affecting MPG to some degree. The other reason is more subjective: with a better running motor the urge to twist the throttle is harder to resist, which also shows up in slightly reduced MPG. But the small trade-off is well worth it. Just enjoy it, and ride safe!

I'm certainly expecting lower mileage due to the fun factor of goosing the throttle more than I did before.

when I'm on my own I twist the **** outta that wick and I surely don't get near 44 mpg,it's more like 20-25 then.I'm talking cruising, doing road captain duty.REsisting the overwhelming desire to have your facial hair removed by wind!I guess I already knew the answer though since I recall that the reason it keeps the jugs cooler is that it's dumping more gas in the chamber causing a natural cooling effect.Just wondered for comparisons sake.
