Default Dyna motor

I am thinking of going to a bigger motor in my 08 street bob but not sure what to get. A bolt in complete motor or a hot set up kit any opinions?

Absolutely go as huge as you can afford!

Go to the Engine forum and ask some very knowledgable folks this question.

you first have to figure out how big you want to go, and what your end HP/TQ goals are.

If money is no object S&S or a Jims drop in crate engine will be the best choice as they do have better tolerances, proven reliability, and good numbers.

S&S motors have a good warranty & they stand behind their products. Parts for S&S stuff is readily available.

As light as the Dyna bikes are you can go any route you want. Depends on how much you want to spend I reckon.
Going big bore, think about a complete engine. Building one from your cases can get really costly quick. Cheaper for a crate engine I would think. built a big bore from scratch and by the time I got finished I had more than enough to get a ss124 complete with some big change left over
