Default Want to put touring lowers on my 08 Street Bob

Is there a certain crash bar for a dyna/FLH that I need to be able to do this on my 2008 Street Bob? Doc cleared me to ride again and it's getting cold up here in Northern Cali. Thanks for the help guys

no, stock/OEM what I like to call " engine guard " and minor trimming..

if you get the newer vented style all you need to do is cut a pie shaped wedge to clear OEM lower mount.. if you run the older lowers like I have in my sig photo you need not only the pie shaped wedge but you need to trim the 1/4 to 1/2 " off of each side as they were slightly wider

I will follow this to see what comes of it, you know me always looking for ideas.

I run the mustache engine guard and this isn't possible with them. So I have been pondering visiting the local leather shop and seeing about getting some wraps made to use on the guard. Another thing I was thinking was trying to glass a nice cover that could snap on and off quickly.
