Default engine guard and lowers?

Im looking for an engine guide and lowers for my '09 FXD. I like both the stock harley guard and the lindby multibar style, but I really want to get some lowers and am having trouble finding anything.

I can live with chap style lowers, but would like to find some hard lowers and of course need a compatible engine guard for whatever.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I put FLH lowers on my Low Rider, and a few other members around here have as well. I used the standard HD engine guard for the 07 Dyna. They are a tight fit but they do go on. I got a set of used lowers off ebay for around $75 + shipping, they needed some repairs and sanding and paint.

Should point out that if you have your front turn signals relocated to the lower fork clamp, or on an aux lightbar like mine, the turn signals will bump the lowers and become your new fork stops. They're also pretty easy to scrape the lower edge when going around corners. Startled the crap out of me the first time I scraped them.

02fx4dude - when are we going to get you to convert that front fender all the way to a fully one? Bike looks good.

My batwing is from Reckless motorcycles, they're made for the FL softails and roadkings. My bike conveniently has a fatboy front end so it was easy for me. However there are some members here have done a good job making brackets to get the reckless fairings to fit on Dyna front ends. I think Robtarra39 has a Reckless, not sure though. I think Joe (JRK5892) also had one.

LOL, you guys aren't going to let that one slide are you. It is still bouncing around up there but with economics the way they are at this time, I think I'm done with this years mods. I'm planning to turn things around in the fall so next spring might see one, just to see if I like it.
