Default 2006 dyna best mods for torque

Currently my 06 superglide has a k&n , Vance and Hines short shots, thunder Max programmer. I know these pipes are possibly the worst but they came with it I've had bike two years focusing on tires brakes and susp , but this winter I need more . Looking to spend less than 2000 not looking for bragging dyno sheets I just want seat of the pants power

Cams are probably your best bet for power to money ratio

Default Torque

When my 06 Street Bob was new, I had a 95 cu in kit put in with high compression pistons and 211 cams with torque mufflers on stock head pipes. It gave me much more torque and some more HP. It pumped the HP up to almost 85 and the torque to 92.45. It made quite a difference over stock and in 2007 dollars cost me $1200.00. Great seat of the pants feel.

^^ Totally slipped my mind that 06 was 88. Your idea is probably more cost effective for power

I think a nice 2 into 1 exhaust, cams, and a big bore kit could be self installed for about 2K.

95" with 10-1 cast pistons and S&S 583 E-Z start cams. Better pipes if there's $ left

I would start with a better exhaust and a new map for the TMax. If that's not enough of a difference (which should be noticeable) look into cams.

My '06 88ci is setup the same but with a PowerComanderIII-usb.

I'm looking into a cam swap and rollers. Look into the following:
http://www.zippersperformance.com/re...ensioners.html

#413-902 Red ShiftŽ Dual Piston Cam Chain Tensioners with Axtell Oil Bypass Valve Kit #620-103 for use with all H-DŽ and S.E.Ž brand Cam Plates

http://www.zippersperformance.com/re...27tc-cams.html

Red ShiftŽ Performance Cams for 1999-2006 Twin CamŽ Engines
527-TC: New High-Torque design for the 1999-2006 engines. Developed as a bolt-in cam for 88-95-98 CI engines for 2005-2006 engines (requires a valve spring change for 1999-2004 engines). Delivers smooth and impressive torque and horsepower increases over the factory installed cams. This High-Torque cam is designed to get the motorcycle accelerating quicker in the RPM area where most people ride. Can be used with stock or adjustable pushrods. Early sprocket, gear drive option coming soon. For use with 88, 95 and 98” engines with modified or unmodified heads (requires a valve spring change for '99-'04 engines). Great throttle response with early midrange power that pulls cleanly from 2,200 to 6200 RPM. Designed for use with stock or adjustable pushrods. Can be used with O.E. cam chain spring or updated hydraulic tensioners. If considering a hydraulic tensioner upgrade, we recommended Red ShiftŽ Dual Piston Cam Chain Tensioners for improved cam chest component reliability, maximum throttle response, and reduced valve train noise.

I hope it helps.

I've been looking into a 95 inch 9.5 to 1 and cams then maybe a nice 2-1, I've looked at the wiseco piston kits the vt kit says it comes with gaskets but is that base gaskets up including rocker box gaskets or just base and head gaskets anyone go this route

Change out the front Sprocket/Pulley for a 30 tooth, the rear should be 70 tooth, if not go to the 70.
