Default S/E SWtreet Proformance Slip ons

I have these on my Wide Glide and they're pretty quiet. Has anyone changed the baffles out?

I don't kow about the Wide Glide Model but on the St.Bob - I pulled the baffles out and drilled some more holes in them. It increased the volume a little which was okay to me - I don't like it too loud.

Thanks Jimmy. I'm with you, I really don't want them too loud, but a little move sound would be good. How hard was it to pull the baffles?

I also have se slipons on my 07 sg. Ichanged out the baffles to cycle shack brand installed Xied and awaiting my v&h naked vo2. As for the baffles i found it easier to remove the slip on, Iused a piece of solid brass to bang out the baffles. pipes sound louder but not overly loud. a low rumble at idle but when you hit the trottle it comes alive.

Thanks Peter, I was looking at the Big City Thunder Baffles. The only problem is you have to remove the baffles and take measurements before ordering. I really didn't want to leave the baffles out, while waiting on the new ones.

Chase,

It was pretty easy to remove the baffles - there were a couple of tamperproof trox screws and a bit of penetrating oil (sometimes there are stuck it there pretty good). I put some channel locks on then (real easy) worked them back and forth and then they popped out.

Thanks, Jimmy. I'll try that this week when the weather warms up a bit. I'm like everyone else, I want to get the mods done before warm weather.

Cycle shack baffles are made for an assortment of pipes, just tell them what you have for pipes and you extract and assemble all at the one time like had done.
