For those guys Shouting out their spokes.
How well does this really work. Looking for an easy clean for my spoked/ powdered wheels on my WG.

 

It still requires some hand work but I think it requires a lot less elbow grease.

 

Simple Green 50/50 diluted mixture. I spray anything and everything on my bike except the paint. Works like a dream, just do not let it dry on your bike, rinse well and wash with soap like normal after. My spokes on my 06 look like the day they were laced.

I was told by the dealer when I picked up my bike to wash the spokes every 2 weeks or they will rust, that was after I'd handed over 20k for a new bike, then the **** tried to sell me mags. Dont get me wrong, I love my Harley, just wont spend a dime on parts/service with them if I can buy it else ware.

Yeah that's what I do too, everything except the paint and it cleans great.

 

I use Kaboom, spray on blue, watch the dirt lift up as it turns white then rinse. then use a towel to wipe away anything left over and my wheels shine!

 

Bike Bright works well, and a spoke brush. The best $12 bucks I have spent on anything for cleaning the bike was the spoke brush!
