stock jets and needle for a 2000 Dyna?
Anyone know what the stock jets and #needle for 2000 FXDL? My bike is fouling the rear plug and I suspect it's set up on the rich side. Don't know the history of the bike and I haven't got an FSM or parts cat for it yet. I'd like to get it back to baseline before I begin tuning. first step will be replacing any intake seals.

45/180 is a good baseline. If there are some changes, like aftermarket exhaust and an open element air cleaner then you need larger jets. I'm running 46/195 with a Yost Power Tube in my 07 SB. To keep your sanity, as carb fine tuning can make ya a lil crazy, get a Yost kit for your bike. It's got all the parts you need to make that CV 40 work flawlessly. With only the rear fouling plugs, I would look at the coil resistance and spark plug cables. Make sure you have the right heat range plugs. Do a compression test to make sure your rings and valves are in good shape. Let me know what you find.

Bike came with DCPR7E gapped .040 and is what I put back in to get it firing again.
Unfortunately I'm stuck on crutches for a while so this will go a little slow, but I'm curious to see what's inside the carb now. Good idea on checking the coil/wires and compression.
Now I just need to get a compression tester!
